Box office reporting
Weekly reporting and suggestions, built from your venue's overnight exports.
Built from your venue's overnight exports. Nothing extra for your team to do.
The report
What a report includes
We bring together the box office system, agent sales and your own sales tracker into one clear report, daily or weekly.
- Headline figures: tickets sold, gross, average ticket price, capacity sold and percentage of gross potential
- Sales by day and week, compared with the same point last week
- Every performance: sold, reserved, comps, occupancy and gross, with the change since the last report
- Channel and agent mix: box office against agents, and how each agent is selling and at what price
- Price bands and seating sections: which prices and areas are selling
- A projection to opening or closing, with clear scenarios
- A short written summary of what moved and why
Every figure is reconciled back to the box office total, so you can trust the numbers.
Suggestions
What the suggestions tend to look like
Practical, specific actions, for example:
- Move an offer onto the weak midweek evenings rather than the strong weekend matinees
- Give an agent more allocation on the performances they sell best
- Restart group sales with a new rate after an early group offer closes
- Price up premium seats where they're selling out early
- Treat a one-off spike, such as group bookings converting, separately so it doesn't skew the forecast
